In Aiden's effort to track down his half-brother who is a serial killer, he locates a pick pocket in the Boston area, Darcy O'Keefe to help him search the the city's backstreets. Although quite intriguing, the story is at times quite violent and dark. Instead of a more standard historical romance, it reads more like a contemporary suspense written with a historical background.
